Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I have ever only used a feeler gauge and the Multi meter measuring Resistance.

Does your Snap On scanner have an OHM meter function??

Setting the throttle position sensor position?

AFAIK it's a "dumb" sensor that just provides position feedback to the ECU via a potentiometer I don't believe you can set the position in the computer but I'll be honest that's on the fringe edge of my experience.

I have had a throttle position sensor go bad on me, had a dead zone around 3/4 throttle verified with a meter set to Ohms and measured the resistance through it's operating range both on and off the truck.

Are your throttle linkage cables (to include auto trans kickdown if equipped) adjusted properly?

I know some you can adjust maybe it was the 22RE engines things tend to all blend together till it is in front of me.

I can read TPS on my ScanGuage. This also helped me to troubleshoot an issue with the original TPS, which lasted 378K miles.
Pickups with the 22RE-i had an adjustable TPS, but not so with a 3RZ.

    3.4 motor
The scanner is the Apallo D8, and can read OBD11, and Im just learning it.
    Going through the codes
P0102, P0113 are the 2 that came up. MAFS, and ITS.
I replaced the MAFS, and still have all the problems. I have read all the threads about the MAFS and realize Im right in the middle of this nightmare.

    Update.....
Replaced plugs and wires, re-replaced the WAFS with a DENSO.
Pulled and cleaned the fark out of the Throttle position sensor.....THAT was the ticket!!
Also found it is slightly adjustable, and jacked with that for a while. Got it to idol and the CEL went off. Improvements!
so...my Tps is "Aisan" brand, not DENSO. I opted for a replacement TPS insted of the entire throttle body. $80, as opposed to $650ish from the dealer.
    Ill keep posting.

    So, new Throttle body,
    plugs and wires,
    Mafs,
    New air filter
Scanned for misfires, no codes, idols great, slow roll good,
pin it and it all goes to shit.
    Back pops, no rev,
Clear exhaust no smoke, good pressure at the tail pipe.
    Any advice will be appreciated
Next is heavy drinking and a flare gun!! Just kidding, i love my taco

Have you checked fuel pressure?, it sounds like your not getting enough fuel.

I just saw the thread about fuel pressure, I have not checked that yet. I did replace the pump and filter a few weeks before I started this adventure.
