Shit bridge….I grew up in North Bend and assumed that was just a clever name me and my buddies used. Guess not!

This is definitely a long shot but I’m in search of a 2nd gen high clearance rear bumper. Like the type you have to cut off some of your truck bed to fit.

and assuming I can’t find a used one does anyone know of a fabrication shop in the PNW that makes them?

Coastal Off road sells a DIY HC bumper. Find a person to weld it up and your set. Your going to like the price and lead times too. https://www.coastaloffroad.com/product-category/toyota/toyota-tacoma/2005-2015-tacoma/

It's like 100 hours of welding/grinding/painting. That's not a deal unless you're capable of doing it yourself, and even then it's questionable if it's worth it imo.

In fact, I just priced it. It's $51 more to get the same bumper you and I have already put together as it is to order that exact same kit from Coastal.

Unless you enjoy welding and grinding. Could be a fun project, says the guy who has a ATH high clearance bumper on order.

I enjoy projects like that, it's more than $51 in wire, gas, and grinding disks, in fact, I bet even with shipping it's more to buy the Coastal Off-road kit than the Bruteforcefab HC I have once you start including consumables

Took me about 10-12 hours to do mine for my GX (including bedliner etc), but it's a bit more complicated than a Taco. If you have the welder, grinder and skills, it's pretty easy. Having to buy a welder and learn how to use it makes it not worth the investment IMO. Coastal makes it pretty easy though...

I might have exaggerated a bit, but any welder worth a damn should be charging $100-150 an hour

My buddy is a weekend warrior welder not a pro. I love my Brute Force. I think it’s the best bang for the buck HC bumper. But I think lead times are getting stretched out pretty far last time I poked my head in the BF thread.

I'm a weekend warrior as well. I'm a little anal too, so I ended up going above and beyond on most of it as well, making sure the fitment was good and everything stayed as straight as possible. The welding is the easiest part. Fitment, prep work, grinding, priming and bedlining was the majority of it. It's realistically only an hour of actual welding, the rest took the 10-11 hours.

I’ve been just seeing if this exact setup comes up but never with this exact build out it seems . Think I may need to just order it or go for the RSI order or the new alucab contour caps
