'afternooon peoples. I loaded my tool box from the old company and by the time I got checked out from HR and got to the parking lot, it was pouring. I had covered the box with some 5 mil black plastic that the shipping dept uses but I have a sneaking suspension that my tools are all wet from the drive home in the rain. I guess that I will spend some quality time tonight with a fresh shop rag and a can of WD40.

I don't know why, but it just doesn't seem like a holiday weekend to me. I'm trying to get into the mood but just can't seem to get there. The forecast isn't helping, I wanted to camp out at Dave's guest campsite for a night tomorrow, I'm not doing that with rain in the forecast.

Installed an ARB recovery point. I would rate myself about a 5/10 when it comes to mechanical ability. This took me over 2 hours. Someone competent could probably do it in an hour or less. The drilling was fun. The inside the frame nut was an MF'er working solo. Its done. All torqued to specs. Waiting for my locker to come in now. Obligatory pics for Rob.

Between worldly affairs, politics, gas prices, life, work, stress, it’s hard to get into the holiday feels. +1

510 mile round trip from Hampstead to Naples, NY and back in just under 11 hours today. One of my daughters does lighting design for stage shows and was in Naples this past week designing for a show that runs June 30-July 10 at Bristol Valley Theater. Most of the drive is great, especially once you get past Williamsport, PA. Such awesome scenery the closer you get to the finger lakes. The Taco averaged 21.5 MPG

Sliders are linex (twice) and on…bless their hearts, had to learn how to do it on a Tacoma after only knowing jeeps…full write and pics to come. Feels kinda awkward rocking an EO product when so many got scammed, should be a conversation starter at least….hope it doesn’t bring the bad joo-joo with it

. I skipped many a class from several fine examples of the VB public education system…

You’re from there, too?! I grew up there and lived there until I met my wife, which is what brought me up to Nova. FC graduate here

    All,

In case any of you enjoy Peaky Blinders as much as I do, the season finale (season 6) is on Netflix now. Going to binge watch this through the weekend when I have downtime at work…

    that is all. Good night.

I was zoned for Bayside! I went to FC as a part of a legal academy program that they offered. That's cool to hear that there are locals even in the Maryland thread. I miss home a lot, I really do. Having lived there all my life of course I took it for granted. 20 minutes to the oceanfront. Now it's 3+ hours to the oceanfront, lol.
