I sometimes roll the back window down part way for my dog. She managed to step on the window button once and open it all the way, and I was afraid she was going to jump out so now I use the lock to prevent that. Somehow today she still got it to roll down - twice. I wasn't able to replicate it by pushing on the window or button. Is there some safety or something that would let the window still roll down?

ETA: this was while driving not parked or anything. I tried to see if I could get it to roll down while parked with the engine running without luck.

Perhaps she went to the front and unlocked it when you went back the house to grab your phone. She sometimes outsmarts you.

Sorry I didn't clarify. This happened while driving.

Possibly, but I had to unlock to roll it back up. I guess I'll just have to pay more attention and see if it repeats. I thought maybe some sensor might let it roll down if there is weight on the window - kinda like a garage door when it closes on something.

My dogs do the same thing but I have not seen it happen when locked. They found that button pretty quick
