Not as much as I had hoped to do. Seems my shipment of a Front Runner Simsport roof rack was in two boxes taped together and labeled as one 70 lb box. What arrived was a thin box with torn tape and a shipping label marked as 70 lbs but weighing less than 10 lbs, to be sure, only containing a wind fairing.

    Rather disappointed.

Since it is a long weekend I’m sure I won’t get any responses to my inquiries until Tuesday. But we’ll see how it all gets worked out.

Started the stereo installation. Will be all Audiofrog GS series, 6 channel amp for speakers and mono for sub, Hush Mat in the doors and foam in the door panels. Custom harness with bass blockers all around.

Theft deterrent will put my mind at ease. Understandably it’s a deterrent. If someone wants your cats bad enough, they’ll cut through anything. At least with this they’ll move on to an easier target.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Wow! I am retired, it is my daily driver, and I have put 60K on it in just the last 3.5 years. Most of that offroad in the bush, fishing and exploring in BC. Addicted to nature.

As for what I have done lately, greased all 5 zerks right before the 4 day fishing trip I just returned from. Early 2016, has the 5 zerks. Lucas red n tacky, seems to work well.

Yes, used same lubricant on all 5 zerks. NLGI 2 rated. I grease the zerks about every 4 - 6 months due to the amount of offroading in mud and wet conditions, and lots of dust too.

I was actually looking at those on slickdeals recently while sitting on a mattress in the back of my truck at a drive in movie. I thought to myself that would be a cool idea to lounge in a pool in the bed of the truck while at the drive in, but I wondered how much water would actually stay in the pool while driving to the drive in.

Lol you aren't driving a taco bed full of water anywhere... Note the jack, supporting the water. That's something like 2500 pounds. I didn't want want old clutch to bear it all. So I threw the jack in to help out. But you definitely could not drive this way

Well, obviously I wasn’t thinking completely full, but if your estimate of a full pool is even close to correct, then about 1/3 to 1/2 full would suffice. Let’s be honest, you’re not actually swimming in this pool, so 1/3 to 1/2 full would be just enough to cover your legs and keep you cooled off during the movie. Still, even 1/3 full, if you hit a bump driving there, a few gallons would likely splash out each time.

It also just occurred to me that the stress on the truck from the water constantly shifting would likely cause more damage than the actual weight of even 1/3 a bed of water.

I agree a bed pool in a Tacoma is a dumb idea.

Loaded up two 10 foot kayaks and two 6 foot kayaks along with some fishing poles and stuff and took the family kayaking. It was their first time kayaking even though we have had the kids kayaks for 2 years and my wifes for a year. They loved it! and the best part is I got to fish the whole time and found myself a nice honey hole of giant bass that no one fishes for (its a small lake that people swim and paddle board at, but no one fishes for anything other than bluegill from the dock)

My 2019 didn’t have the compass tab, the media tab is still there but is just blank. As for the OBD, they included everything needed to hook it up minus the Sirius tuner. There is nothing to plug into the OBD.
