Does anyone have any stock upper control arms they would want to part with? Looking for something with low miles like a take-off that someone took off to lift their truck. Mine are getting a little rusty as they were not replaced when the frame was. Thanks!

Are there any shops in the Southern Maine area that perform CMC’s or did you do it yourself?

I am looking for Insurance Recommendations for Home and Auto. (or who to stay away from) I am sick of Geico for a variety of reasons... I know everyone's situation is different but I figure we all have Tacomas.

Local would be cool but not required. I am in Standish.

    Thank you all!

We have been with Liberty Mutual for several years, both home and auto (2 vehicles). Rates are lower than we found for other companies and the times we needed support/service, it was no hassle.
Fortunately haven't had to make an auto claim but we had a water issue in the house once and the claim was simple and the issue cleaned up quickly. I actually ended up making some money on that one, doing some of the work myself.

I have had very good experiences with Amica, have had to make a couple claims/repair work done for various things. They may be a little more a month than geico, but the customer service and quality of service is bar none for me so far.

x2 for Liberty Mutual (we have them for homeowners and the Tundras). Theyve been great with us and had the best rates.
State Farm absolutely fucked me in an accident. I had to go into a snowbank to avoid a texting teen who then drove down my offroad steel back bumper. No damage to my vehicle. Teen admitted fault, I had a police report and witness in my favor and photos showing her on my side of the road and the tire marks. Didnt hear a peep for a month from State Farm after the initial report then got a letter in the mail and rate increase. It was the kids mothers car and the mother filed with their insurance lying that I hit the daughter. I never even knew theyd reached out or that my claim had even been disputed. Called offering all the reports, witness statement, and photos and got “oh well for cases that have been closed we cant do anything”. Dumped them that day.

I highly recommend shopping insurance every year or so, I have saved thousands over the last few years doing this. There is no company loyalty any more, they all have one thing in common, they want your money and don’t want to pay out.
