Ain't nothing wrong with a Casio. Thats what I'm wearing today. Still there's something cool about an automatic watch.

Question: I feel naked without my Submariner on. On the other hand I like wearing my Apple Watch to track my fitness. Do I look like a psychopath wearing a watch on each wrist?

I usually have 2 watches on when I work out. Got an old Fitbit charge 3 that I wear other than that though it's just the one.

I went with the Fitbit charge 5 because it's 22.7mm wide. At a glance it looks fitting opposite a 20mm watch band.

But I'm an android user. I know a few people that wear apple watch and traditional watch. I think it's okay since the cases are different shapes. I personally couldn't bring myself to wear a round Samsung watch with a traditional watch.

Wearing a PD1694 Pagani sub homage w/no complications. Seiko NH35 movement, sapphire crystal, 200m wr, solid end links/bracelet with screws not pins, screw down crown, and ceramic bezel insert. . Well under 90 beans on sale and its a great beater.

A new metal oyster bracelet comes in today for my Citizen Promaster and I am both dreading and looking forward to trying to make it fit... might have to use the grinder...

Sangin TAD Pro. It was a dream watch for a long time and was able to snag one little over a year ago.

Love that.... looks similar to my Victorinox albeit it cost a bit more and its craftsmanship is considerably better..

Latest build for a friend that's helped me out a lot. Used a turtle case with drilled lugs, nh35, and a blue nato strap. Kinda liking the style but the colors aren't my thing. Little too close to the style my Willard has to really build another diver.

I've lately been thinking of building my own with a nh35.... and watched 5 or so build videos on YouTube. Where are you getting the parts? Aliexpress? And is it easy to f it up?

I've been on a Chinese watch kick lately and here's my speedmaster homage ...sapphire crystal, Seiko quartz VK63 ,only 75beans so another good beater watch

. funny how the pics make them look huge on my wrist but they don't wear as big in real life....

If you take your time with it I believe anyone can do it. I get most my parts in eBay due to their protections. It'll take some time to order parts if you get them from China but really there are just a few things needed along with whatever style you choose. Don't force anything and a build shouldn't be a problem. Kinda reminds me of building computers. They all look different but are built about the same.

Skx styles are simple to build. I'd say YouTube is a good source to get started. eBay does well to have the important pieces you will need. Usually you'll always have a movement, case, dial, stem, bezel not in that order.
