    Returning the truck to commuter mode. Washed off FPK and @3pooches and found a few things. Haven't been under to look yet. When I switch the wheels back to commuter mode I'll check it out. Maybe time for a steel rear bumper too!

    So I ended up reexaming my pre-departure photo and realized at least the driverside wasn't attached at all, so when I got cell service I called my FiL and turns out he had an extra grommet and had locked it on the bottom driverside! So I ended up taking the same long way to my in-laws Saturday and found the cover and the piece of reflective foil insulation square (to help twart dings in the AC fins) less than 3 miles from their house!!!



    I definitely have to get it restitched up, as more top corner tears occured prior to being launched!!

    Right now, I'm imagining Chris sitting in front of a computer screen watching a progress bar slowly move thanks to the marvels of dial-up internet.

    On another note: I have zero idea why the Heep was cutting gas trying to get up the hill. I can't figure out if the traction control is completely off when it say it is. And it seems the only way to ensure it is, is to pull the fuse.

    Not to mention there's all kinds of other silly nannies that never turn off. So I give up.
