I'm wondering about selling mine too. I have a 2019 TRD Sport with 47000 miles on it, and the last offer I got for it was $45,000 because of its custom interior, along with a ton of other mods I have done! But since dealers have no inventory, what could I do? But, in the meantime, I think we all hear about the new electric tacoma that is coming, which to me is worthless. Now, if they were coming up with a Hybrid tacoma, then I might be interested in that. But for now, I have to admit that I am salivating over the new Ford Maverick Hybrid, with over 40mpgs. If it wasn't a Ford, I think I would get it, but man, I hate domestic vehicles, but at the same time, Toyota is missing the boat by not doing a Hybrid tacoma. Oh well.....

Yes but the new taco isn’t ready until at earliest 2024…. Most likely 2025/2026… the manual will be here as long as the 3rd gen is around

I hope your prediction is right tonestar! If Toyota keeps cutting production they might axe the manual early. This is purely speculation on my part of course.

Ok, asking here, and then going searching for a thread. How far out are we right now on factory orders?

Ended up with the right truck for the right deal, just took some patience, some good timing and the right sales staff

I believe the Regular Cab was dropped from the Tacoma line up in the final 2nd Gen year. If you are an MT fan, you may want to watch Toyota announcements closely as we get closer to the 4th Gens arriving.

Unless you have another vehicle already, stay out of the car market.

I was forced to find another truck cause some uninsured idiot rear ended my truck and it got totalled due to bent frame.

It’s been frustrating finding a new truck, since there isn’t any new car inventory and used cars are selling for more than new vehicles.

Carfax sent me another email wanting my truck. They are up to $35,900 now for a truck I purchased new for $31k.
I have to admit I'm thinking about it. I'd probably go back to VW and a new 8th gen GTI. Part of me misses the go-cart and 30+ mpg.

A local dealer got in a manual transmission double cab TRD OffRoad in Mag Grey which was one of my top 3 colors. Pretty much a stripped model with LEDs and tonneau cover which is exactly what I wanted. I would've preferred heated seats and Tech Package yet, but I got what I wanted for my trade and $500 under MSRP. Took a little haggling, but happy to be in a new truck

I'm sadly about to try to sell my '21 OR DCSB because of a job change, and am curious if I should sell private party or just take to a dealership and see if they want to buy it.

It's almost silly that I don't sell my 5 year old truck for what I paid for it. But, there's nothing really out there that I would prefer to drive.....

I went through that thought process. Mine had some maintenance stuff that was due, mostly because of a poorly installed Leer cap that killed my rear suspension snd damaged paint near the bed caps. My 2017 was pretty much loaded, and this truck is not, just LED headlights and tonneau cover, but the power driver seat sure is nice.
