I can barley leave a steep parking lot without my bike rack tapping the ground on the rav4. Can’t imagine what idiots do trying to be all “overlander” in the rav4

It doesn’t help i have a aftermarket hitch which hangs lower. But i would never take that off-roading. Unless its like a fire road to a camp site or something

Now imagine you have your HF rack on there with your 1000$ yeti and your overlander shit. Then you decided to go drop a rock ledge for the gram. And you think you can do anything because you got 33” K02 and kings.

shit gets ripped off so fast then goes tumbling down the hill lmao

You're giving Kbro2 lovers too much credit assuming they'd run King's.

We all know they run Fox 2.0's like Jeep people

i got tired of banging the hitch on the tundra going through the ditch at the farm. so i put the OEM hitch that sits WAY higher on

Freaking 4R hitch sat so low.

Hell so did the LC hitch, but we both know why they didn't incorporate it into the rear of the frame like those outside the US.

    mhmmm

i still would like a little more clearance for the tundra... but its just a workhorse.. i need the hitch.

now that i've pretty much made up my mind the 2002 double cab will be for sale when im done with it, the 95 will take on the offroad role.. lightly. but it'll do it.

4x innovations rear bumper is probably going on it once i get that thing on the road officially again

its DOT approved for towing. so im sold on it.. price isnt a whole lot more than a OEM new bumper.. and my experience with aftermarket stock style has left alot to be desired

It's hard, making a bumper that everyone would like.

I didn't find anything I liked for the Taco, but I loved the rear I got for the 4R.

I'm going to make one for the LC just cause.

function over form for me.. the 95 will also probably get dallas's old ARB once i figure out if its straight or not. as of now it looks like i just need brackets
the factory hitch is MEH. sits higher.. but the cut in the bumper you make is ugly.

This is ironic. In Utah, everything is illegal. Well, mostly, everything fun. Sometimes you can get married in the temple. Sometimes you hitch multiple wives....although I'm not sure why anyone who endures the "pleasures" of monogamy would subject themselves to the horror. Aww, look at me, I'm going all:crazy:again.

We generally still get kegs and fireworks from Wyoming.

Yeah thats what stops me, gotta change bumpers for it. But after that like 1” lift I almost never scrap. Unless i got a Car full of people and a bunch on bikes on the back going off a steep road to flat.

and it barley scraps. I think ill just live with it scraping, its not hurting anything

No need to cross state boarders in CA. I can have a keg delivered to the house and goto china town down the street and get any firework i want illegally

Ahh see I don't know why I only thought of tube...that plate bumper looks good!

That's similar to how my LC bumper will look.

    20220628_155843.jpg

It'll wrap around towards the rear of the tire but I stopped because I really need to order the swingout/spindle so I can measure for a swingout properly.
