Do the original Tacoma frames typically have stickers with bar codes on them?

 

Yes

 

Mine does. And some how they’re still there after 15 years too.

Those are some good stickers.

 

The stickers are still on my frame, rear pumpkin and drive shaft. They all are in great shape considering their age. The one on the frame looked so good when I went to see the truck, that I initially assumed/thought (incorrectly) that the frame had been replaced.

 

While my truck has never seen snow or salt, it has stickers. So I vote yes.

However, that does not mean one is looking at an original frame.

 

Just like mine after 15 years! My frame isn't terrible, but no way does it look somewhat new either so I was thinking it was a really good sticker.

I'm in an area where snow and salt are common.

 

If only Toyota had specified putting those stickers all over the frame, the darned things would last forever!
