Fair enough! Speaking about being hand built, time for a story.

Today I was finally getting to fixing my truck. Have all the parts on the bench and it’s time to dig in. Prior to getting started I wanted to take a toe measurement so I could align the truck back to what it was before starting. As I’m doing this, I notice the front is locked. That’s weird. Trucks been parked for a month since I fixed the lockers and then the steering randomly started binding. Hmm. I disconnected the hose from the front locker valve and air came out. Hmmm. Suppose to “blow off” when you turn the lockers off. Then it hit me like a sack of bricks. Could my steering binding be simply a locked front end that’s causing mechanical binding? Yes…..:annoyed:un did the hose and went for a drive after having the truck parked for a month. Yup. So now I have a spare rack, pump, reservoir and lines for when/if it actually breaks. Good times…..

Is the front cross member supposed to be bent in like this?

Rust might need some more attention I know.

Had you left the switch on, or something with the solenoid not let the air out?

Solonoid has a filter at the top of it that was clogged. Took it off and it works perfectly. Just cleaning the filter. If it doesn’t clean out I’ll swap it with the filter on my spare solnlid.
    thanks. Interesting events for sure.

No, just a regular “poor man” Long Range with 3.1 second acceleration.
Total cost to thunder bay is $150 from Toronto, and charging network is anywhere within 200 km along trans Canada hwy.

I think it was the least busiest I’ve seen it on a long weekend, especially compared to last year. Was kind of surprised

Oh interesting. It’s almost like everyone knows it’s busy so they don’t bother. Not bad.
