And FWIW - I agree it's unlikely to be bad gas. I'm betting battery and that is precisely where I recommended he start diagnostics.

my source is the the truck runs in the rain with out stalling because of some tiny amount of water ingestion.

The truck is not going to ingest water in the rain if the air intake system is remotely intact...along with most of the passenger from body panels.

The relatively humidity changes in the air are a far smaller volume of moisture change than your 50:1 example.

Even if contamination were to occur in the manner you suggest, it would not be evenly distributed within the fuel in the fashion that a longterm disuse/condensation issue would effect.

Do you have a source on this or no?

Im just going to use yours - the vehicle keeps running in rain.

Until you can give any evidence contrary to the assumption of a pressure tight internal combustion engine, which is the null.

No need to debate gas quality at this point.
As @Tacoma Mike has said, the security light needs to be OFF before the truck will start.
I don’t see any need to diagnose anything any further until that’s figured out.

    I’m done following this anyway.
The shit people throw out lately is ridiculous and just getting worse.
They don’t even read the thread.
So I very rarely offer any advice anymore cause some googleholic
Is pounding keys in the background trying to one up everybody
Or having a similar issue in a model T.
I mainly follow threads now and laugh and drink coffee.

My Tacoma has been sitting at the Toyota of Longview, Tx for two months and they are unable to repair it. 35,000 miles and truck just cranks but won’t start. They have replaced the main control module as they said that was the problem but it still continues to crank only and not starting.if anyone has any connections to someone from Toyota with any knowledge of how to repair please have them contact Toyota of Longview Texas.
