Need some info and couldn’t find it searching through the forums. I’ve got a 2016 SR5 currently with full armor and 35s currently with stock gearing…it’s horrible. I’ve got a buddy that is selling me his entire rear axle, and front third with 5.29s for a steal. The question is, will there be any issues considering his is a TRD off road? I know the rear is easy but didn’t know if I’ll run in to any issues with traction control and what not. I would also assume that the front is the same between the sr5 and off road?

also, does anyone happen to know what I’ll need regarding wiring harness for the elocker?

yur sr won't support the wiring for the locker, but the swap should be doable other wise.

hmm….wonder if I could run my own wiring for it and just tie it to a standard switch.

don't think the brain is in the locker, a standard switch would just run the actuator till it broke I think.

    Yeah
Look up the any time rear locker mod. Essentially it’s what you’d need to do to engage it in your SR that has no factory provisions for it.

That’s exactly what I’m doing as we speak. Thanks for the heads up. Seems doable.

    Yeah
    You
You can actually skip 90% of the mod, all you need is a switch and the high power resistor that’s in line with the locker. Everything else is there to fool the ECU on factory locked trucks.
