It'll be fine until you cycle your suspension. If they don't fit now they aren't going to fit after a lift unless you do some cutting.

    ^^Yup

also, go to Nate’s for an alignment, and consider getting SPC UCA’s.

I feel like there is a cab mounts chop in my future. Anyone recommend a shop in South Lake, Carson or Reno? Was thinking of doing it with a cut wheel but may just want to get it done.

Grab a set of our CMC plates and hit up Nates Precision for the chop. They're our recommended installer in the area and do them all the time for our customers.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
I need to call Nate's to align my 4R. Reno Vulcanizing got it "road worthy" in a pinch, but they didn't get the caster I want (and I'm pretty sure it's doable with what I've got on there).

But, it's summer, and I find myself too busy with other stuff.

@obscurotron, seems like good stuff to be busy with. Fingers crossed that the blue skies continue for a change this summer.

Ayres is also a highly recommended alignment shop and potentially a bit cheaper.
There or Nates are the only 2 we let touch our rigs.

Amen for that. Looks like CA is already starting up with the Rices fire, though. Hopefully they knock it down in a hurry. :/

When I was 17 I installed a Doug Thorley y-pipe, It still passes smog. Its a complete waste of money imo other than the extra clearance.

I have been staring at a set of equal length long tubes in my office since January. Seems like when I have the time to install them I'm sick or getting infusions and when I'm feeling well I'm busy with skiing/camping/family stuff.

Hopefully I can make some time for wrenching in July or August, otherwise I'll see if Nate's is interested in the header and supercharger install...really hate to not do it myself though.

Any one local have a 2nd gen shell for 6ft bed they want to get rid of cheap? I'm looking for something like this. Color doesn't matter. Condition can be a little ruff. Just need to fit correctly.

....And welcome Smoke Season! AQI monitors aren't showing anything too bad, but I can definitely see and smell the smoke this morning.

    Go Go Dyson Air Purifier!

Got a SSO Versa "bumper" for the 4Runner sitting in a box, but debating winch options. The M8000 on the Tacoma is about 20 years old, and it has been a rock solid performer all those years, and got me out of some pretty crappy stucks, across 3 different trucks.

I'm looking at the WARN VR-series (VR 10-S), but have zero experience with them. Anyone got insight? I've always been a WARN guy, but I'd contemplate another brand if anyone has suggestions.

Some dumb ass, started a small (1 acre) fire last night at cave rock. They got it out quick but closed 50 for a few hours.

I don't have any other recommendations since I only have m8000s. I have two and I think they're a great option for light toyotas.

I’ve had a Shittybilt X20 10k with the synthetic line for about 5 years that has been pretty solid. I don’t use it much but when I do it always fires up and works. Although it doesn’t seem to be much cheaper than a Warn VR these days so I’d probably go Warn.
