Got my 16”ers last week and installed today. Very happy with the look. A slight moment of fear when the tech went to check fit on the front. The wheel wouldn’t fit over the hub, but with a little hub cooling and gentle persuasion from the lugs to push it over they went on fine. After the tires were mounted he didn’t have any issues. Probably just a little corrosion coupled with a tight fit made it really tight. Rear wheels were no problem over the hubs.

I may re-paint the center TRD non-metallic red but am not sure so those caps are not installed yet.

if you want to know I am running 265/75R16 General Grabber ATx’s.

 

I know you didn't ask but I think the red on the center caps would look good with your color truck.

 

I agree it will look good. I just am not a huge fan of the metallic red that came standard. I know you have to look close to see the metallic but I know its there so it bothers me a little. I will re-paint plain red

 

FYI - I transferred my General Grabber ATX 265/75R16 from the stock TRD OR wheels to my new FSW F266 16"x8" and now have slight rubbing on the front mudflap attachment screws when reversing with the wheels turned full. I will most likely remove the mudflaps to alleviate. I may look into increasing caster to try to move the wheel slightly forward but not sure how that will affect handling.

 

Does anyone have a pic of their stance with 17x8.5 with -10 mm offset? It would be much appreciated.

 

Liking the wheels and sizes offered - however the bronze finish is a bit too dark. Any way to sell raw aluminum wheels so I can have powdercoated or any way to finish in a brighter bronze?

 

Man these are exactly what I've been looking for. Wife might kill me if I sold off my current setup so quickly though

Oh yeah lol, I was on a few threads about wheels and guess i got mixed up which I was posting on.

If I was trying to run 285 tires I'd def would have went with a wider wheel like y'all's but I with 265 I think the OEM works fine.

Why aren't these available in machined alloy or bright silver?

I just had my Goodyear tires switched over at Discount Tire. Wheels look great, but the amount of silver wheel weights look stupid. It took an average of 24- 1/4 ounce weights per wheel to balance according to Discount Tire. The same tires on OEM wheels only took a few. Any one else have issues of FSW being hard to balance?
