Is this truck worth buying?

Sure looks a lot like my 06’ Tundra, not my 99’ Taco

 

Oops, sorry. You're right. It IS a Tundra I was wondering why it had dual exhaust coming around the tranny rather than between engine and firewall.

 

90% of the people that see my 06’ say “Nice Tacoma”

 

When you see them alone they really look quite the same with just a quick look.

 

Question.....

Why bother letting air out of the trailer tires? Wouldn't it roll better fully inflated?

 

And Toyota would laugh you out of the dealership.

The latest possible Toyota frame replacement is 15 years after first in-service date. That time has long since passed for an '04.

 

You’d think. I learned with the RZR trailer I can leave them full, 80psi, and air the truck down to 13psi and go almost anywhere.

But with the truck and trailer aired down, I can cruise through even the softest sand. Larger foot print = less psi on the sand, and the tires just float on top.

That price is insane, way, way toooooo high, CYA, this seller is trying to give you the business.

 

My guess is that “North Carolina” means outer banks, means rust like crazy. Hard PASS.

 

If its in MD, seller is probably asking at least $16k. You know, DC taxes etc

 

This should have had the frame recall work done where the chassis is sprayed with a goopy coating. They bought back the units with too much rust (like this one) It covered certain states, including MD, idk about NC.
