Rhino USA Shackles - Paint Question

Just had a set delivered to me earlier today and the paint is already chipping on them. Is this normal for these shackles to chip so easily? I went with matte black but on both of them on the sides the paint is already coming off. I didn't want to contact them if this was the norm.

 

They're recovery equipment, not fashion accessories. Your shackles are fine.

Eh, I paid for painted shackles. If they come chipped out of the box than that seems that kinda defeats the purpose of a painted shackle, no?

 

Just send them back, you're never going to need them.

 

They were bought as a fashion accessory therefore I need them.

 

Then touch it up with spray paint to make it as beautiful as you’d like it to be. WTF?! Lol. Helplessness.

 

I tend to blame shipping companies for such things. Not really anything that can be done about it unless you pick them up in person.

 

So, you don't mind having to paint things that you receive brand new because you can?

Ordered some on Amazon and it came flawless in really good packaging. Whatever it is that you purchase, expect some quality. Call them or return and order something/somewhere else.

 

God Dame people! He wanted a shakle that's clean regardless of the shackle being used or not.

Ask for a replacement. They will replace it for you.
