Hello, just wondering if anyone has ever used a 90degree fitting coming off of the master cylinder. Clearance is pretty tight. I tried mocking up some brake lines but kept kinking. If anyone has a part number, or help with fitting terminology. I’d appreciate it. 04 Tacoma stock master cylinder. Thanks.

Figure out the thread pitch and size for the hole and then you can find them on summit or jegs.

I think the builder is setting the front up for a 26.5 frame height knowing the rear should drop 1" eventually. If it doesn't drop as much i can always adjust the front up to match

Rather than buying the adapter, what about making a new line (threads are M10x1.0) and bend the line 90* coming out of that front port?
Can get 3/16 brake line coated for fairly cheap and can reuse your fittings, just need a decent flare tool.

If anyone is interested, I have a set of like new Fox Factory Series 2.5x14 with remote reservoir and DSC (dual speed compression) adjuster. Springs are 150/200. Use these 2.5x14 for mock up and end up wanting more droop so I end up ordering Fox Factory 2.5x16 instead. I will include a pair of like new Elrod 4 layers limit strap, use for mock up as well.

0 miles, truck is not drivable yet. These were ordered through Accutune with extra weight in mind for bumper/winch etc.

    $2k firm

I also have a a set of new Artec towers and a set of lower (axle side) link mount with weldnon safety washer that I can include for an extra $200.

I do have misc shock mounting tabs (flat and angle)

Why’d you decide to go with 16s? Curious what you’ll do for steering because mine binds with a 14 in shock. I need a twisted pitman arm that’s pointed at the knuckle to use the last 2 inches or so of travel

I want more droop. I can care less for up travel. I understand my frame will be higher than what i want but i will sacrifice slightly raised frame height to get the tire to the ground in bad rut area. What's causing the bind? What's hitting the pitman? Your suspension to far forward?

I also had slight binding on the drag link at the high steer joint with 14's and a Artec high steer. I changed to standard misalignment spacers and it barely makes it at full droop while turning...

Mine binds at the steering arm. Just to much travel essentially. Solution is a drop pitman arm, angle the steering box or make a pitman arm that’s angled down. I could also put a uniball style joint and weld it to the axle end but then it’s not as adjustable.

how much travel do you have now, ie dropp from ride height? With these long wheelbases you don’t need crazy numbers. I never lifted a tire on leaf springs and 12 in shocks and definitely haven’t come close after linking it.

just curious as I looked at running a 16 but couldn’t package it with decent numbers without going through the hood/fender with the shock tower.

what’s your numbers look like now with 14 in shocks? Uptravel/droop/frame height? I thought the 4wu kit was built around a 14 in shock

I may have to try a standard misalignment. I took the steering misalignment ones from ruffstuff to the lathe for more clearance and that helped some. I just haven’t had the motivation to do a pitman arm or anything else as it doesn’t lift a tire as it is

At ride height, I have 4.25" shaft showing. At full droop with limit strap in place, I get 13.50" shaft showing. So approximately 9.25" of travel. I left 0.50 shaft hidden to play it safe.

Don't get me wrong, the 9.25" travel look amazing. Was just thinking of I run 16, I *might* be able to get some crazy droop.

Picture: front tire barely off the ground, still have a slightly rub on the cement.

Those are some bad ass coilovers. I just got the exact same setup as you, except performance series for $1,500 shipped.
