    Never heard of a 9” sub. Like @Wattapunk asked, are you replacing the factory JBL sub? If so, it’s a 2ohm 8” sub, shallow mount. I think it was 4” mounting depth, but I’m NOT positive on that. I’ve seen the Rockford Fosgate P3SD4-8 placed in the factory box with a little trimming. Wire it in series for a 2ohm load and you’re good to go.

    Factory JBL replacement 8" sub requires a shallow mount sub. You can find dual voice coil shallow mount subs that are 2 ohm bridged to work with the factory JBL system. I replaced mine a few years ago with a Pioneer slim DVC sub. I believe Kicker carries a sub that will also work.
