I had 2 yellow labs and my wife had 2 pit bulls when we got married. I left my 2 labs at my parents, they were father and son. 4 dogs was too much. I would bring them over and let em all play. They were all good dogs, they have all passed now.

Dogs for the win! Bigger dogs though I do respect the Jack Russels

I have no problem with Cats growing up we always had barn cats around.

What bothers me is having a litter box inside seems I was always walking on cat liter with my bare feet.

Never had small dogs before this one. Little did I know I got a one off. The colour is rare but my Vet, Dr. Betty confirms she has an extra vertebrae. Smart as a tack. Doubtful I’ll ever be as blessed.

    Goodmorning crew.
I voted both cat/dog. Many years ago I would have just vote dogs but the wife had three dogs and a cat when we met. The cat she had named Spooky, all black big chunk boy with big fang teeth that hung out like Sabre Tooth Tiger (not quite that much but for a idea). Anyway he was a cool fellow and there were maybe 2 other cats in my lifetime that were really cool, one had got in my bedroom window and had her kittens in my closet, HS days.
Cats are much less work than a dog it seems.

My cousin has been wanting to buy a truck. I sent him pictures of one my neighbor has with the transmission not working. He asking 1,500 for it and has 318 and 100k on the thing. I think my cousin is considering buying it and I told him we could work on it in my driveway. Also has newer tires but it's been sitting for 5 years. What you guys think? It's not all completely rusted out. 2001 model20220701_154116.jpg

I'm allergic to cats so 100% dogs for me.

New puppy has been paid for, just waiting for it to be old enough to bring home.

Not a bad price considering, I know them models were notorious for transmission issues. You can probably do some searching and find out what the most common problems are

He wants to get a transmission from you-yank-it. I told him we'd be experts at swapping them by the time he got a good one.

I think so too provided we put a battery in and it starts up. He said he used to start it and drive a circle in reverse because that still worked but he hasn't even done that in a few years.

The only thing Good about a Dodge was the 6.7 Diesel.

I never cared for the Cab lay out .

Not so strange -- the average animal is a better person than a lot of the people wandering around the world today it seems.

Yeah agree. That diesel with a manual transmission behind it. Cab is clean so far as not all torn up20220701_154201.jpg

    A Dodge...

Seriously the old 318 (Magnum version by then) is a great power plant.
As long as the undercarriage rust isn't crippling $1500 is probably a pretty fair deal for a project in the current market.

Yes that's exactly what we were thinking Rusty and we both been underneath and looked and it's not terribly bad rust on the frame/underside. If he get lucky and find a boneyard transmission ($200) that works it be a solid 4k truck in today's market.

Should have mentioned the boneyard has 5 of these trucks currently.
