this is a deep hollow landowner timbered last year. it was a honey hole but now is easy to get into. ive got a ground blind right about where it was at in some rocks of all places.said it was right below my ground blind. maybe i should start hunting out of trees more often in early season. lol

Thought id throw this out to you all since we all spend times outdoors. Be Careful and check yourself for tics! last year one youngin we hunt with got a disease from tic bite where he was allergic to red meat. he is better but now another one has been in UVA heart ward, lyme disease was causing part of his heart to not get blood like a blockage. if he would have gone for a run like usual he wouldnt be here anymore, antibiotics are getting him better. coming home today so Be Careful All:thumbsup:

Been lurking for a while, guess I should post! As far as ticks, I use permethrin religously during season, hot or cold (which just means hot or less hot in the southeast).

I hate to see deer that have been hit by a vehicle, but as I was passing this one this morning a red fox was making it breakfast. I’ve only seen a couple of piebald around here.

Anyone here use a Jet Sled to haul deer out of the woods? I could see how they'd haul across frozen lakes/snow/sand/flat or soft ground with no problems, but do they hold up well dragging across wooded terrain/rocks/stumps/etc? Also, is the jet sled JR a decent size for an average southeastern whitetail?
