i forget, what diameter is the bolt? I haven't installed those specific ones but think it's like 60-70ft lb with the weight of the truck on the suspension for most shackles

I've done a mod or two
Flex fuel hasn't caught up in a broader sense at all, especially not in other countries (they don't like to wastefully subsidize farmers to grow corn we don't need). So only USA shit really has it an of the USA shit, it's mostly tuners who add it themselves or US manufacturers with gov't contracts (not every model will be flex compatible)

I’m not sure since they’re already in and waiting to be torqued. It was a pain to put them in and I don’t want to pull them out again to measure haha. Might just send it at 70 lbs

torque spec for the OEM shackle bolts is 67 ft/lbs, so I'd go with that in lieu of nothing specific from the aftermarket company.

actually I'd probably do 70 as well because prime numbers make me uneasy

My brain remembers the wrong things

I couldn't remember if I had already made 1 or 2 coffees this morning so I decided to make more

but 40s make it even more important to have properly torqued suspension parts :luvya:

I get like that with stuff I do routinely, becomes so routine I do it without thinking then wonder if I did it at all later on

This just triggered memories of every family trip we took as kids, we would always have to turn around about 1 mile into the trip so my parents could double check that the stove burners were off. Every. Time.

I get like that with locking the front door, I never forget to do it but sometimes if I don't have a clear memory of it I'll have to go back and check.

I got smart and positioned my cameras so I can see the door. Then got dumb and have adjusted them since.
I can't tell you how many times I've woken in the middle of the night to go check if the door is down. If I don't I will think about it until my alarm goes off.

yeahhh it was a staple for sure

though my parents would spend 15-30 minutes arguing about turning around before committing to it, then arguing about the time lost lol
