I think somewhere in between $25k-$100k based on market cap of today's largest companies. Naked shorting carries infinate risk, so there's no theoretical limit to how high it can go. There's some practical limits, however, like the collapse of the global financial system.

 

depending where you're at, even 750 a share could be life changing. 4 figures per share for me would be AMAZING. Would give me a reaaaally nice kickstart to retiring at a decent point. My realistic goal right now is 50 but I'll have to see how that holds up once I finish school and actually get into the workforce.

You’ve got my interest for sure. So you’re trying for 50x straight share appreciation in a mediocre business that is struggling to turn it around in a sunset industry? What time frame? If you’re taking 10 years then who cares about a split today?

Are you betting on a short squeeze? How does a split change that? The Bear’s obligation multiplies by 4 but the price per share levels that out. If you’re gambling on a squeeze you should buy a billion out of the money calls that expire in the next few months. Then you’ll be Rockefeller rich if your hunch is correct.

Happy to hear about the GeeMee split. IMO this is the last chance for 'the system' to force a short squeeze.

If it doesn't happen there, the only rational assumption left is that the power structure will not allow it to happen period and the MOASS thesis has to go.

GME exercises its right to remove itself from the fraudulent DTCC and places its shares on its own marketplace. This is wildly successful, and other companies do the same. GME trades without manipulation and the price just keeps on going up.
