Thanks man! These are new resources to me. I'll claim I've done a lot of web searching prior to asking here, but I don't have the Facebook and they don't let you see much without an account. Wasn't aware the work on the alpine grade would affect the trail below Hancock. This is seriously helpful!

Kinda hoping Schofield might be passable as an alternative to Pearl, but not holding out hope either, those tricky spots are well shaded. But does anyone know if they repaired the rockslide from several years ago? That thwarted my last trip... I'll admit I'm just being lazy now, could probably find that info online, but either way I'm excited for the chance to revisit these areas. Thanks again!

Pearl pass was open when I cruised over it 9/17/2021.
Trailsoffroad.com - another good resource, says Pearl Pass is currently impassible.

wheels on dry pavement with a trusty partner turning the wheel back and forth very slowly, put your hand on the rack or inner tre and see if you can feel the point where it clunks

Where's a good place to get a new steering rack? I'll probably have to do mine soon. 250k on the stock unit

@Chadr7858 and I just crawled under there. My rack bushings are shot. Hopefully rack itself is ok

Energy makes a pretty good set of bushings, better than stock.

    Camper stuff.
It came with one 12vdc outlet, which I have plugged a double outlet thing with two USB connections and it's bulky and shit gets unplugged with me crawling over it and it has a very annoying bright green LED thaat lights shit up way too much at night so time for an upgrade.
    From bezo's
Quick charge 3.0 with aluminum body and a switch to shut it off.

had to make my own wall plate as there was no way to get fingers back there to do a nut.

    the assembled unit.

    Top is original.
Center USB is tied into the top wiring.
The bottom was added as well to be dedicated to the fridge. It has it's own 10ga run to a 20amp breaker. Hopefully this will lessen the voltage drop. And stop me from unplugging the thing.

No draw voltage. It is off by .1 volts due to Ohms Law. The charge controller showed 13.0 vdc.

voltage drop with the phone charging.

Have you ran them personally? Do they get loud over time?

I run them in the Tundra and the Tacoma, they don't make any noise.
They really don't move tbh. Really tightens up the feel of the steering.
