Bet you ain't dry now

When I went to bed, the forecast said 60-odd percent chance of light rain with a window of 2 hours or so.
It had already started to drizzle.
It didn't stop, just got heavier and heavier.
Got up at 3 am to take a leak...still raining, hard.

So much for the forecast.

I just emptied my rain gauge...over 4 inches

What is this, is somebody (Mrs Gritto ) pulling a prank on me?
If she did, she sure went to a lot of trouble, cuz a bucket by the garden showed the same.
A couple flower pots by the shed...likewise.

It's pretty moist today. We're up in spring Grove for the day, but I gotta come back and start leveling the hole I dug for the pool last night when I get home.

So, an old cowboy goes to the barbershop for a shave and haircut…

“Y’know” he tells the barber “My skin is so old and wrinkled that I can never get a close shave”

The barber nods and pulls out a little ball from a cup on his counter

“I’ve got just the thing. Hold this ball in your cheeks whilst I shave you. It will help to stretch out your skin”

Afterwards the cowboy runs his hand along his jaws.

“This is the closest shave I’ve had in sometime. But, what if I had swallowed that little ball?”

“Oh, you could just bring it back in a couple of days like everyone else does”
