Macy is our outdoor cat and she's about 14 as well and has slowed down a lot. She did get a small bird yesterday and bows up on other cats if they set foot in our yard but she mostly just hangs out now.

Depends on how long you get to borrow it -- if he pays the plate and insurance and you get to run the wheels off it for six months that would be a good deal. You know it would be spotless clean when you picked it up too.

A (softhearted) friend had a neighbor/acquaintance appear at his door one day "in a bind" and asking to borrow his truck. The fellow brought it back in a few hours. This started occurring with some frequency, he always returned it with exactly the same amount of gas, nothing more.

After a while he discovered that the fellow was taking odd jobs moving furniture, brush, scrap metal and the like, if it was a larger job he would borrow the truck and have two drivers.

He printed up business cards that said "Rich's Halling".

I have people ask me to borrow stuff from time to time. Depends on who it is and what it is if I let it leave. Neighbor across the street ask to borrow my 60hp Ford tractor and bush hog to make some trails around the neighborhood. I said the only way that'll happen is with me sitting on it and $75 an hour. He hasn't mentioned it since

Maybe he put it there so he knows where it is -- or maybe he put it there and has no idea where it went.

You might as well only loan out hammers because most folks seem to treat borrowed things like hammers.

If he puts tires on it, I might consider it. Needs tires at 19,500 miles already o_O

Yeah I learned my lesson when the powdercoater borrowed my skidsteer I had for 3 months. When I picked it up it was out of fuel and had a leaking cylinder. I said never again. Luckily he plugged the tire and replaced the hoses he busted on the grapple bucket

That's what the guy who inspected my truck said. They are thinner than they look. Not the best traction in the rain anymore. Although this truck will not see much snow since the 2nd Gen has got the "meats" :D
