What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

Great film!!

 

It's surreal to see actual footage from the war like that, we get so used to the Hollywood versions from all the movies that have been made. Some of those are great too, don't get me wrong...but nothing like seeing actual footage.

The Forgotten Battle (Netflix I think) is a recent WWII movie that is a must-watch in my opinion. Its a Dutch film so you have to do subtitles or the dubbed version but its one of the better WWII movies I've seen. Didn't get a lot of press probably because it's Dutch and came out during covid (2020). But I highly recommend it

I started this today. Really good so far and I am only on ep 2.

 

I will say no more, don't wanna spoil anything for you.

 

Finished EPI 3 yeah, is he or isn't he?? Keeps one riveted.

 

Can't wait for a season 2.

 

Despite really hating Ep1, boredom overtook me and I powered through.

I'll admit that there were some fun action scenes. I still maintain that the writing is awful, and it was painfully predictable.

 

Watched episode one of Terminal List last night. Damn....not what I was expecting. More dark and twisted than I thought I mean. Will definitely keep watching

 

Terminal List was good. 1st episode wasnt great in my opinion. Keep going though.

Just started watching stranger things. Its ok. I can ff through 30 percent of each episode and miss nothing.

 

Yes they could do better with the story line, i think its better than all the NCIS, NYS, blue blood.
I got to see some cool guns that i also own.

 

Admit it, we were all in it to ogle the FJ60.

I agree at certain levels for sure. I like looking at the reporterette but her lines and the writing and even her acting..........are...forced, at best. Regurgitated. And repeat.

I didn't know the overarching "dude not going nuts" was the theme though so there is that. Just go with the flow. Reacher not losing it, you know it.

 

Annnnd, forgot to add i watched the new Dr Strange movie. Dr Strange was one of my favorite marvel movies, but number 2 went straight woke.
70 percent of that movie ate a massive bag of rotten dicks.

I knew Terminal List was coming out but haven't started it yet. I really enjoy the books and his youtube channel. The 5th book is out by now?

but yeah when I saw that LC in the short teaser I was like fuck yeah! Depending on how they do on the show vs the books this could get very good.

 

Great show. I've watched it through twice now. Not only because Katee, either.
