I would. I'm guessing this is why I have play in my slip joint. I think I installed a 1.5" spacer and it was tighter at first but has loosened up now. I need to try with a fresh shaft.

Took the time to wash and light compound buff. Looks good to be 23.

I used these from Amazon and they work great. I experienced the same rust-out issue with my SnugTop clamps

Anyone change their supercharger oil before? I’ve got the kit, just wondering how effective the syringe is in draining it all.

My snout is leaking all over, so it needs a rebuild soon.

It's not great but can't do much about it. Unless you install a drain port which is a common mod on 1st gen gray blowers.

However the way yours is mounted that might not even be an option

Yeah it’s a weird design, it’s actually Zane’s old one. He keeps telling me to take it off and sell it, but I kind of like it haha.

Well I’m sure I’ve leaked most of the oil out so I’ll just suck what I can out and top it off. It’s due for a rebuild anyway.

How do you mod the v6 blowers, do you just drill and tap a drain plug into the snout?

Oh yeah it’s definitely from the seal. I was more thinking over filling and it was coming out through the splines, but after another look I think my flange just has too much corrosion on it. I have a spare 3rd I’ve been meaning to regear and install a truetrac in. I guess I’ll just let this one leak and go ahead and get on that regear.

I've done the oil on mine a few times, with the drain/fill hole it's easy and straightforward. Syringe gets enough out, it's just like with the diffs you're not gonna get every last drop.

So the 4 banger one doesn't have an access hole to drain and fill it? Sucks to have to remove the thing just to change the oil. But if you need to rebuild it anyway...

A popular mod for the 1st gen TRD chargers (light grey color) was to drill and tap a fill hole on the snout. For what ever reason they didn't have that as part of their design. The 2nd gen TRD chargers (black) and now the ones coming directly from Magnuson, come with a threaded plug in a fill hole.

I've never heard of taping and drilling for a drain port. I don't see how it would be possible to get to while the charger is mounted on the truck either. Everyone just uses one of those syringes with a flex tube to suck out as much oil as possible to reduce the mess that is inevitable when you separate the snout from the body to rebuild the snout.

    Random/multiple cylinder misfire

Maybe there's a loose connection somewhere in the ignition system, could be injectors or a handful of other things

How do you like the solar panel on the hood? I've always loved the idea just don't want things getting over charged
