I took these ramps off of a tandem gooseneck I bought and cut them down to fit this trailer many years ago. Got the mesh reattached and almost ready for new paint. Time to do the other one.

I need to find some elcheapo led square mount driving lights to add to my winch frame on my JD D140 for my blower.
A whopping 9amp charging system doesn’t have much reserve for anything excessive.. LOL.

 

@Steve Urquell what do you have on yours?

 

I’ve got a Kawell pod on the back of my 4wheeler, works great for seeing at night loading deer.

I agree, I look at the attention to details in the build quality between the White and the sears mower... no comparison IMO. The White uses tiny rod ends on the steering tie rod, the sears mower had a piece of solid bar that was bent at the ends and passed through plastic bushings that no longer exist. I had to adapt a used Kubota tie rod onto the sears. The big deal for me is that the blade RPM seems much higher on the White, it devours grass while moving along at a good clip. The sears just wants to bog down when the grass is too high, it forces me to creep along in 1st gear with the deck raised in a higher position. I like that I sit lower in the White, I don't feel like I'm going to tip over when I cut across the hill. I have to do a 'sail boat' style counter lean when I cut the same way with the sears mower. I really can't whine about either one, they both cut grass, which is all I need them to do. I was hoping that the sears mower would work at least as good as the White so that I could sell the White and just cut the lawn on a low-budget riding mower.

Check out TSC, I have some on my old Ford plow tractor that you could drive a car with.
They pull less power than the original backup bulb ones they replaced.

 

The older mowers were allowed a higher blade speed -- safety laws slowed them down, might be why the White cuts better.

 

Got my buddy to help take tires off and get it on jack stands.

 

Ok, got a question here for y'all.

I want to paint the top of the skidsteer cab white to reflect some of this South Texas sun, it should cut down on some heat absorption.

I bought a can oil based glossy white.

But then I remembered there is also a roof coating materials like; Acrylic, Silicone and Elastomer.

Any suggestions?

 

Roof products like that are generally thicker with a softer, grippy texture.

It seems that tree branches and the like would get a better grip on that surface and do more damage to it rather than the smooth paint. The softer surface also imbeds dirt that will darken the color over time.

Hard to beat an oil base finish for durability, throw some car wax on it now and then.

I think I'd just clamp a cheap umbrella to the roof.

There will be very little heat difference noted with a coating of paint, no matter the color.

The pro mower guys fab up an electric fan to blow fresh air down on the operator to keep things tolerable.
