I also did like many on here with the Nakita camera under the Y-O and in front of the garnish. You'll have to remove some plastic(dremel tool) and use the shims they provide. I've got rid of the guidelines by snipping a few of those colored wires, if you ever decide you need those lines you can always connect it back. I also used black split wire loom tubing and Tessa high heat tape from the firewall to the camera; I had to return a camera because the southern heat/engine bay heat would damage the wiring, with the tubing and tape, I have not had a problem since.

How did you swap the button that was placed where you put your camera button at? Do the wires for whatever button that was get to the other side by the door? Or did you need to extend them somehow?

I had no button there. For those of you that do have a button i saw that some guy just took a button he never used (blind spot monitoring, he left it on) and just left it hanging behind the dash.

if you have an open spot on the left hand side you can just run the wires for the back up camera button over there. You might have to do some soldering to extend the wires or some crimp connections. But make sure that open spot is the same size button blank that is the switch. If its the one that really tall that one wont work.

Ah, thank you sir. I have a button their but I like you suggestion of hiding BSM! Id much prefer the camera button where you have it. Makes it much easier to flick. Thank you for the help. Much appreciated!

I mounted mine in the center of the TSS, no issues going on 2 years. I got mine from car solutions and it uses the steering wheel mode button and allows you to switch between the front and rear cam. The front cam comes on when in drive just like the rear cam when backing. Also allows you to use the cameras when driving.

@Mater96 does it interfere with the TSS sensor? I thought about putting mine there, but I was worried I would get unwanted errors from the sensor.
