1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

So, found some.

It's faint in the oil I scraped with my glove but it's present.

 

Generally speaking, for as old as this thing is, and having lived in a race go kart, I'm surprised with how clean it is.

@Abeyancer says the oil looks like it's never been changed and I have to agree

Yea. It's old.

We've got 3 out of 8 outlets that don't work and the ones that do are all on the same breaker so you have to turn everything off to run the microwave, constantly fighting mold, walls with no insulation. But rent is cheap, we have a yard and off street parking so we make due until we move

 

At some point I bought an oil drain pan with pour spout that holds about 4-5 gal and is gray plastic. I can't seem to find another locally, not even on Amazon. They're all black. The closest I found was green for coolant which I suppose is better than nothing.

Any ideas?

I like the gray because it's easier to see glitter in the pan

 

Good point.

I'm using a white Ace bucket and it makes it easy to see glitter especially since I can shine a flashlight from underneath as well.



I'll post pics of assembly and components once I've broken it down far enough.

I'm having @Abeyancer just double check everything for me as I don't want to have a "gotcha" upon disassembly.
