I'm really trying my best to not lose my F#$%^@$@%^@%^ shit here! Just talked to my GF who took the dogs to the groomers today, driving my LIFTED gx. Why didn't she drive her CT since I drove my old truck today? She calls and said my dog (a 16lb lhasa apso) FELL out of the GX when she opened the door. Said he seemed ok until she went to give him a piece of carrot as a treat. He wouldn't eat it and that's when she looked in his mouth and noticed several teeth missing from the top row. Why in the F(^((***(*) weren't you paying attention when you opened the GD DOOR! Nothing is ever her fault according to her. After using several special words with her, told her to take him IMMEDIATELY to the vet. We'll see what they say.


I guess my brain works different, I would just assume that he might want to jump out so I'd be mentally prepared for this before I ever open the door.

 

Dang man. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully no head trauma outside of the teeth…

 

I'm really trying to keep it together while I'm at work!. That sweet boy is my life!

 

My wife drives her car and I drive mine. Unless we are taking a family road trip or there is a special circumstance, we do not cross streams.

Hope your dag is OK...they'll probably just give him some pain killers and tell you to give him wet food for a few weeks.

also, don't be too hard on teh GF...I'm sure she also feels terrible.

 

We swapped cars because we live 2.5 miles from her work and 30 miles from mine. But she could have driven her car today.

I'm sure she feels bad. And I have a couple of hours to cool off before heading home. But damn, use your head once in a while!

She's back from the vet. The missing teeth wasn't caused from the fall and he didn't suffer any other injuries thank God. The missing teeth are caused by he's really been in need of a dental cleaning. We are both really bad about keeping up with his teeth. But he recently had a seizure the vet thinks was cause by liver issues. So he's been on liver supplements and can't get his teeth cleaned until those numbers come down.

Might have a solution for y’all. Gotta get home & snap a pic of the stuff. My dog is about the same size & just loves these things but I can’t recall the name for the life of me.

 

We have greenies but they don't seem to help a whole lot.

 

Yeah, we tried them too but these things are the real McCoy. Got ‘em from the country vet I see. What I call a “real” vet. She can handle most any kind of animal so experience all around plus out of the high city priced rent.

 

These be the ones. Difference was night ‘n day.

 

I recommend this as well as they make an oral rinse.. I would use the oral rinse for older dogs with horrible teeth. The other thing you can do is get a water pick and use it outside but it will help remove and soothe the gum line
