I love the torch! I can cut off an inner bearing race and not even tough the shaft 95% of the time. My co-workers think I'm a wizard

Cut a couple rusty nuts off a Ford 5.4 manifold and you get proficient with it real quick

    Well then!

Its taken lots of practice, trust me. I've ruined several servo roll shafts learning it. But, they were gonna be trashed anyways so it was good practice. Now those pieces of equipment that use those rollers are gonna be upgraded so we'll no longer have to deal with those things... :pout:

I can make one piece of metal into several using the gas-axe, but it's not much better than that. We had a guy at our club who cut the tubes out of a boiler, and barely got the tube-sheet warm... I hated him too!

My boiler tube guy finally retired. He never got called back after a hydro. Guys that good really need to start passing it on. Lot more to it than hangin’ a shingle on the door sayin’ welding for sure. Grateful to have had ‘em around.

Don’t worry, your system is the same as mine… all wrenches in same drawer… SAE and Metric. Boxed, Open, Flare, Adjustable, etc…
The reason you put it there was so you could find it easier “next time” for that “thing” you “didn’t finish”.

it’s a Serial to USB adapter for those legacy devices. Me thinks someone is hiding it from some other one. Really handy with new computers not having these anymore. Fun fact… USB is also “serial” and is the first word in the abbreviation SATA…

It melts in globs with a torch, not that I would have tried.
