SOLD: FS / Local Pickup: 3rd Gen TRD Performance Exhaust (Black Tip) - $OLD

I recently purchased a 2022 Tacoma TRD Off Road. It came with the port installed TRD Performance Exhaust. I pulled the exhaust after about 200 miles (basically the drive back from PA to MI after buying the truck) and I swapped an aftermarket exhaust that I had onto the truck instead.

I would like to get $OLD for it and am asking for local pickup in the Rochester Hills MI area. It's just too bulky to ship realistically since it's one piece.

I always wanted the trd exhaust but ended up getting the carven exhaust. Where in PA did you get the truck?

 

First dealership I could find that had something remotely close to what I wanted already allocated and on the way, Brewer Airport Toyota. Tried leaving a deposit 4 x times for a new Tundra or Tacoma at my local MI based dealership Fox Toyota and I got the impression they just were not interested in new car sales..... all about that used inventory.

 

Ah okay, I picked up my 2020 trd sport in may of 2020 before all of this price inflation. I'm so glad and its fully loaded.

 

Yep... I got hit with a 2k "Market Adjustment". In the end I was okay with it because I had sold my 2021 4Runner to Fox Toyota for 2k more than what I paid for it almost 2 years ago (and they still flipped it for 5k), so that washed it out as far as I was concered. Long story short, I had a white TRD Pro 4Runner that was already developing body panel rust (not rail dust) and I was not interested in going down that hole. They were quick to buy my used off me and flip it, then slow to help me get something new.... Kept saying computer was acting up, or I'll call you tomorrow.

hey would you be interested in chopping off the tailpipe and selling me the muffler and shipping it? If you can round up a box I can email you a prepaid UPS label.

Im sure someone else would be interested in the tip. thats not my syle, and I would feel wasteful about buying a new TRD exhaust only to cut it up.

this may work out well for all.

 

if bolt on and easily removed, I'll pay $50 for "just the tip"

If we there is someone interested in the tip, I'd be willing to do that. I have a cut off wheel, so could get a nice cut that should be easily weldable.

Well, shipping would probably be $20 alone so that wouldn't really work. Plus, this is going to need to be welded on, it's not a slide on with a set screw, I would literally be cutting it off.

 

I just don't see that being realistic. I would need to piece together random boxes, and due to the weight and size/clunkiness of it, it would be an arm and a leg to try and ship it. I don't think it would be worth the time and cost, really.

 

I mean you could always just bubble wrap the hell out of it and ship instead of piecing boxes together, thats how my leaf springs came and they made it just fine, but i understand as well if its too much trouble to be worth it.....

 

I would be a buyer at $350+ I pay for shipping (without the tailpipe and tip). I am sure someone else would come along and pay $50 plus the ride or maybe more for the tip. You could get your own 'market adjustment' lol.

If you could leave the midpipe on that would be great but on the tailpipe end I only need about 4". I am not in a hurry if you need to scrounge up a box. If you cant find a box and need to buy one I will work with you on that.
