I already can’t steer without moving haha Yeah I just got wheels and tires so I’ll have to barter doing the ceilings downstairs with the wife before doing any more truck stuff. She knows how to get the work done

I’ve had the Howe pump kit installed for over a month now and it’s been fine. I’ve bled it several times now but it’s developed a whine at lower rpm’s. I’m going to bleed it again. I saw the bleeding procedure on howes site as well that I’ll try. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is it normal and I’m just dumb or am I just dumb altogether? I’ve had trucks with hydro assist and PSC pumps before and this didn’t happen.

Well shit. Can’t say I did any of that myself. Filled it up, turned the steering wheel back and forth (engine off) until there were no foam or bubbles in the resi. After that I fired the engine up (still on jack stands) and cycled the steering till it ran with no bubbles or foam. …I did stay off the stops. I only had a few bubbles after firing it up though. Put it on the ground went for a drive and it was perfect. No strange noises at all or ever at this point.

Also shoutout to Harry for the great customer service as usual. I received the wrong fitting for the high-pressure line to rack but it wasn't on them, it was on Howe for sending the wrong pieces. He came into the shop while sick to get to the bottom of it, sourced the right piece from a local shop, and overnighted it to me when I couldn't find the piece locally.

I bet you didn’t even have to threaten to leave him a bad Yelp review either. Did you scold him on Angie’s list at least?

Hahaha they have held up well beyond my expectations in a number of crazy configurations while wheeling.
