Been a long ass time but I'm pretty sure the timneys go back together the same way as stock 10/22 triggers... I'm going on vacation next week but I could maybe look at it after that.

I was looking at a couple of videos and the parts/geometry looked different. I'll give it another shot.

Not exactly related but I figured I'd ask here. Has anyone re-certified their CCW recently? I sent my stuff in almost a month ago and still have not received my new permit. Obviously it's been a while but I feel like it used to take less than a week.

Not recertification but my initial application took almost 90 days to return
DPS is so busy when I went to the bank to get the cashiers check for $60 the teller just asked payable to AZ DPS right without even looking or knowing
I said getting a lot of these now huh she said yup all the time

Point being there super busy so I wouldn't expect an immediate turn around

That's interesting. I would have expected demand to drop since AZ went constitutional carry. Good to know though. Thanks. IIRC I only sent them $43 so hopefully that isn't the issue lol.

Edit: I see that's the price for a new permit VS. renewal

You need an AZ permit to be able to apply for a Utah permit. This allows for greater cc reciprocity when traveling. I’m sure they are busy coming off the Covid restrictions and political environment. Sorry for the P word.

    And no wait 4473

Due to volume my 4473 approvals were taking 30 min to an hour to come back. CCW eliminates that

Interesting, I was not aware that was an option.
I kinda figured most of the coastal states werent going to allow it either way

Yes and no...while you gain WA with a UT permit, you lose NM and SC

reciprocity has been a thing forever. I just paid off a vehicle and found out about the whole electronic title thing. Everything is moving in that direction, yet you still have to apply by mail and send a check. I feel like it's by design that these processes are outdated and slow. Similar to the NFA

We moved from WA almost 2 years ago. I had to renew my ccp just before we moved. At that time during covid, the CO. Sheriff's dept changed the process to online renewal. Also they changed to a laminated permit from paper. Hopefully AZ will update their system to online. When I applied for my AZ permit it took almost 4 months after sending in prints and paperwork. Utah was about 2 months.

Ah ok. I don't think I will ever make my way out to WA, but good to know just in case.

I know its a pipe dream but i wish i could find reciprocity with stupid california. Wife has some family there and nothing like stopping for gas in LA after dark...

CA cops aren't looking at regular people for bulges around their waistbands. They're busy responding to calls and avoiding creating circumstances that'll land them in cuffs.
