Dude, don’t worry, it will come quick. Seems like yesterday mine was 3 or 4 and now he is 9 and wants me to buy him a C-10 to build. I’m like, maybe we start w a 2 stroke motor and see how you do. Then he tells me my truck is too low and why isn’t it real high. Kids….

Com’on out later in summer when truck is done. From @cynicalrider to me there are 3 good days of wheeling. Start up north and end in LBI for some beach fishing! If nothing catastrophic happens I’m gonna make the west coast trip in Jan also.

Nah rausch is only 2 hours from me, aoaa/fro are 2.5ish. The stuff 5-6 is in MA/VT/NH, and you have potts mountain in va at about 7ish hours. I like the multi day rock crawling trips when every turn is new to me. I got to the point where I memorized rausch and it’s lost it’s luster for me.

 

He has some good tools for making stuff. I've done some of this along the way with Nissan engines that have a lot of surfaces to polish. But never anything to that degree. Looks like the craftsmanship that goes into making a custom knife.

 

Check out the restorator on you tube. Amazing. I may have spelled that wrong. He restores old small motors and cool stuff

I’ve heard of cool spots up north but never been. I’m going up to Middletown, ny right now to meet this dude who works for Holley. He said a friend of his has a private off road park by lake George somewhere. Curious to find out what’s up w that. I’ll let you know. Maybe you have been there.
