Do '06's have a seatbelt chime? I just got mine a few weeks ago and noticed right away that there's no seat belt chime, whether it's unbuckling while driving or getting in and driving away without the belt on. The light blinks on the dash but that's it.

Odd I see a few of us with 2011's can't seem to get it to work yet there are some that say it has worked. I'm not a tard and tried this for about an hour straight eventually morphing into every possbile timing deviation I could think of. It just does not work. I cant get my odo to do anything but give me mileage and the chime doesnt go off. Very frustrating. Anybody in san diego county want to come give it a shot for a 6 pack of your choice? :D

I can't help but think this process is not going to work for my 2011 but at the same time I just want it to work so if someone could do it I would be happy.

Aktaco420 - What year is your truck? I may just unplug the wires on my '11. On my wife's Civic, I just bent up some wire clips and stuck them in the belt latches. Very easy.

2" CCM front spacers, secondary airfilter gone, OEM 16" alloys, Trailer hitch gone, Seat belt buzzer gone, Ignition key buzzer gone, shortened fact. antenna.
Just for reference, I was able to disable both seat belt chime & door open buzzer in my '10 A/C Prerunner, 4cyl, 5spd. Only the seat belt light flashes now.
For 2011 guys, manufacturers sometimes phase out older components throughout their year to year builds, so perhaps some guys got older instrument clusters in their '11's, while others got the newer units...
I feel your pain either way, but some smart TW guy will figure out how to disable these & post it here soon enough...

I'm gonna go do this now on my 10...will report back. Anyone try it on an 11 yet? My father in law has one & I'm sure he'd love it too...I drive around with just a seat belt clip (the connecting part) but I'm sure its not legal to have...but it is nice for short drives from the condo to the mountain when I'm geared up...this would be better!
