Hopefully not ruining your bumper. The hidden bolt is a bitch.

Worth the effort though. I love the way they look. I leave the daytime running lights on. Gives it a mean look in my opinion.

I have one of those as well. It works good. I did have time trying to get the metal plate stuck to my older rubberized Otter case but in the end, it got stuck on there well. A 3-foot cord is a perfect length to snake around the bezel across the top and then loop under the phone. I used the fuzzy side of Velcro to hold the cord in place in a couple of spots and so far it has all worked perfectly. I used a right angle USB adapter to turn the cord to the right. Love the way the engineer of the dash placed that USB jack right over a cup holder.

Half way putting on the Bakflip MX4 on my truck.

Was only able to put on the rails as it’s over 103 degrees today and I was sweating like a pig after just 30 minutes. Will have to wait until it’s cooler tonight to finish mounting it.

just added the console molly from victory. I didnt know they sent 2 as i only wanted one (yes i know i need to adjust the straps on my knife pouch)

after reading around i was worried the screws wouldnt hold or it would be flimsy but it is pretty solid (i used a 1/16") drill bit so i gave the screws alot of plastic to bite on

yessir- i use my truck like a truck. My bed is pretty banged up. Somehow i have only managed to get a couple of small dents in the body. I waited a while to have a truck again, so when i got this in 2017 new, it got put right into service lol

any tips in taking the headliner down?

i know the visors are pretty easy as well as the hooks in the back.

what I’m afraid of breaking is the overhead console. Where do you pull from and how hard?

When I did Meso V2 map lights I just pressed lightly on both sides of the overhead console and pulled straight down. If memory is correct you'll still have a wire connected on the back of the console after you pull it down that can be disconnected by lifting up on the tab of the connector.

I opted not to remove the headliner for sound deadening, because the pillars were giving me a lot of trouble with their retainer clips. You'll probably need some spares if you do remove them. :notsure:
