So, Joudy and I have actually been thinking about where we're at in our life, and after months of research, we've decided to move to Portugal. After 26 winters in Canada, I think it's time to explore other parts of the world that don't have -20c days in January haha.

We're selling everything and trying to fit our life in 4 suitcases. So sadly, the GX has to go too. Although, I am eyeing a 2nd gen Prado once we're there, manual, diesels, and factory rear lockers..what's more to like!

 

Doood, that sounds like an awesome new chapter in your lives and such an adventure ahead of you!

we'll miss you and your antics of bringing a brand new GX to Ardbeg, you with the power of the internet, we can still keep in touch here! Dont be a stranger and pop your head in here once or twice when you move over finally!

We are very excited and nervous at the same time haha. Selling items that you've owned for 15+ years is harder than I thought.

We'll definitely miss everyone we met here as well (depending on the Visa time, we'll hopefully be there mid October)! We really wanted to join you guys on the Scothline run but we were on our way back from a PEI road trip.

After the Ardbeg trip, I trimmed the front bumper so I'm really hoping to get a chance to go out on a run and see everyone before selling her!

That is awesome and sad at the same time, we will miss you guys, but you will love Portugal as a place to live. Great food, drink and beaches. What else is there? Yes I am biased being born there having spent many summer there growing up Where area have you decided on?

 

Oh sweet, didn't know you were from there! We're looking at apartments in the Algarve - Lagos. We really wanted to stay in Madeira but we figured lets settle on the main land first and visit Madeira before committing to living on a sub tropical Island haha.

 

So you'll be up to the same shenanigans as @vonclicas did back in the day?
