any tips in taking the headliner down?

i know the visors are pretty easy as well as the hooks in the back.

what I’m afraid of breaking is the overhead console. Where do you pull from and how hard?

When I did Meso V2 map lights I just pressed lightly on both sides of the overhead console and pulled straight down. If memory is correct you'll still have a wire connected on the back of the console after you pull it down that can be disconnected by lifting up on the tab of the connector.

I opted not to remove the headliner for sound deadening, because the pillars were giving me a lot of trouble with their retainer clips. You'll probably need some spares if you do remove them. :notsure:

I’ve got tools for that and yes those clips are a complete bitch. Looks like I’ll be looking for those clips online.
I have a box of the foam material so it’s getting installed lol

I’ve had mine for a few years and still like it. Been thinking about getting one for the tundra. I’ve been hoping they would reach out to me for a review so I could get it for free again

Rocker panel overlays from Tufskinz. I was kinda nervous as I never dealt with anything bigger than a 3x5 sticker. But they went on pretty easy with the soapy water method. They came out about 98% perfect, which was a lot better than I was anticipating. I practiced with the tailgate overlay first(no pic.)

Love the wheels, I've got the same ones on my MGM. I have those same blackout decals in the backseat pocket.... Been too afraid to put them on...

Nice truck! I had the decals for a while and was hesitating too. It actually turned out to be one of the easiest mods i have done yet. Just take your time peeling the old decal to minimize the residue. I used turtle wax’s bug and tar remover and the residue came right off. Cleaned up the area with rubbing alcohol. Applied the new decal using the soapy water method. Now just letting it sit in the sun so it can dry.
