Quiet replacement Exhaust

Don’t flame me, yes I used the search button and got tons of random info.

My 2.5 Gen DCLB has a hole in the rear top of the muffler with only 50k on the clock and sounds like crap.

Im looking at systems and most are louder than stock which I don’t want. A replacement unit from Toyota is just under $400.

Anyone know of a better option, perhaps with a stainless muffler, that would be priced around that or lower that isnt loud and doesnt have highway drone?

I could probably just get away with a muffler if I needed to as the pipes dont look too shabby.

 

If it was me, I'd patch it and call it a day..both work well, the bottom link is less expensive

Just thought I would chime before anyone tells you to get the TRD because "it's not that loud". Don't. It will tire you out in no time. The highway drone is maddening and anything abound 3k rpm is just plain loud.

6 months into owning one I had to ditch it.

JB weld high heat, is made for repairing mufflers.
