I had a guy i worked with ask to borrow my dvd player while i was deployed...i said man they are like $50 at walmart...he says he doesnt have $50...i said well sounds like a personal problem...and you arent borrowing mine...now get out of here!

Understand. So long as a person enjoys the hobby it makes no difference to me what brand.
I was at B-I-L wedding several years ago and visiting with one of the other guest (I'd met before and remembered he was full of himself) and he proceeded to brag his brand of rifle up and no other rifle is even worth mentioning. Whatever dude
At that time I probably had my first rifle DPMS brand with 20" bull barrel and JP trigger.
Since then it's had a couple thousand rounds through it I'd guess. No issues

Well....
One neighbor cant even see my yard due to the extra tall wildlife area he went and created over there; the other neighbors pretty much stay high/drunk/whatevers all da time, I doubt they'll raise much of a fuss. But I like em!! They really good neighbors!!

I don't mean to come off as running down the top tier stuff just because I'm not willing to pay for it.
It's better than what I have (especially the optics), and that's a fact.
I just don't need it.

Now, if one is competing, then the picture changes.
When I was shooting Trap, I had several very expensive guns.

One time at a match I overheard Mrs Gritto say to another woman:
"He has guns in the trunk of the car that he paid several times what the car is worth".
