Both of those are Jim Beam 'craft' brands. I've never had Baker's, but I'm a huge Knob Creek and Booker's fan, both from the same family. I don't care for Basil Hayden's, which is the 4th in that lineup.

Let us know whatcha think. Ill get around to it one day.

I’d like to hear about the Baker’s as well, and I’m wondering if anyone’s had the 13 year.

1792 is really good, even just the small batch. Maybe you had a bad bottle or it needed some air.

It can be any 6 bottles with that tag. Or it could be all the same bottle.

Just the mere fact that you are permitted to pickup 6 BTs at once…

Sucks, huh? When I see people allowed 6 bottles of BT and declining picking up Blanton’s at MSRP makes me realize how bad the NC ABC system sucks.

I’d trade my liquor laws for your gun laws all day.

I take back my bitching. I enjoy my diverse gun cabinet more than my diverse bourbon cabinet.

Enjoying some Russell’s Reserve 10 Year on this muggy evening. Not a bad bourbon at all. Sweet with a little bite.

Well I saw a total wine in my adventures and figured I had to stop. I’ve always heard good things about this and since they had a store pick it twisted my arm to get it.

I enjoy WT expressions all the way around. Rare Breed and RR13 are the favorites, but all the RRs and 101 are always good in my book.

Hit 188.2 pounds after a long run today. Been working hard this weekend.

So, time to celebrate with my first incentive. The Weller SR is beautiful. Viscous and smooth on the tongue, nice vanilla and caramel flavor. No spice. A perfect level of sweet. Worth the wait.

As a health care guy I'm gonna have to call a few of those out as flat misleading.

The cancer risk thing is especially BS - no way around it, cancer risk increases with exposure to alcohol. But heart disease risk is in fact reduced with moderate, regular drinking (i.e. about 1 per day). The diabetes defense is legitimate too.

The cognitive performance one is hooey too. Antioxidants have benefits, yes, but those found in spirits are completely negated by the alcohol content. If you want antioxidant benefits, eat some blueberries.

The jury is out on the immune function item, but probably not.
