I have a calibration disc that came with colored plastic to get the colors dialed in in my theater room.

That a bit much for 8x8. It might be a hobby shed? Or maybe he has a big mower or SxS? :notsure:

It's 10x12, but still, pretty overkill for a shed.

I'm not sure what he's planning on putting in there but he does have a people door and in the neighborhood of a 6' x 8' rough opening for a "stuff" door.

In the earlier days of color TV the sets would drift out of adjustment, it wasn't unusual to walk in someones house (or a bar) and find the colors on the TV all jacked up.

My mother didn't have a color TV until 1991, I got her a 19" set for Christmas.

I had one of those for a long time ... it got rattled around bad when we got side-swiped and run off the road about 6 yrs ago on the commute to work. The tub started separating from the outer shell and leaking insulating foam. :(

I have like three of the thermos.

When we got married, my wife's TV was a 15" with a built in VCR.

    I had a 27" TV, a receiver, 5 speakers, a VCR and a 5 disc CD changer.

We just got rid of the (1989) 25" CRT floor model a few years ago. It worked perfectly until the power went off, then I would have to open the back and warm up the circuit board with a hair dryer to get it to come back on.

It would work fine until the next power failure -- unfortunately up here in the boondocks the power blinks a lot and finally the hair dryer wouldn't get it going anymore. :pout:It almost made it 30 years.

We bought a 32" RCA tv many years ago, it was like 700-800 bucks; that same tv now (but probably better) is maybe $150. I think tv's are the only thing that have actually gone down in price.

If memory serves, my 27" Sony was about $500 in 1996. Best Buy wouldn't give 19 year old me a credit card so I saved up and bought it from Sears.

The last TV I bought was a 37" LG for about $280.
