    Probably the Capstone Edition, but those are build in Texas. Only PRO made in Japan is the 4runner, all of them come from there. All Taco's are from Mexico now.

    We put a Deposit down on a Dealer Allocated AWD Camry in the first week of February. A couple of Days after I picked up my Made in Mexico Tacoma. We took Delivery of it the last week of March. They're Built in Kentucky .

    Well as I suspected the sales guy was full of shit and just lied to me to buy some time without me bugging him. Truck would have arrived around now but I was told a few days ago (after bugging the shit out of them for the status) the truck and a RAV4 arrived damaged. No pictures of the damage, no info from the Toyota dealer system regarding the VIN . . . so obviously I'm being fed nothing but lies (there were numerous other clues, of course I had my doubts). So I'm 4+ months in with no allocation and nothing but lies from the dealer. I'm going to visit the sales guy in person on Tuesday and probably cancel my order and buy a used Tacoma or new Frontier, Mitsu or Ranger 4x4 diesel because F liars.

    How much you want to bet there is a TRD 4x4 sport in magnetic gray just waiting in the showroom for its buyer to finish the financing and paperwork and take her home? At this point I'm thinking F toyota, if they don't want my 40k I'll buy a used 20k truck and 20k sports car and they can go F themselves.

    Scammy dealers are not exclusive to Toyota only. It just happened that Toyota cars and trucks are in high demand and sometimes difficult to get. Don't let one or two crappy dealers ruin your plans or dreams.

    Waiting since February. Largely my own fault because I only want the premium package OR and only certain colors (don’t want a boring metallic color). Working with 3 dealers who don’t do market adjustments. Every two weeks (allocation day), results in disappointment.
