Typically in non-dwelling construction (outbuildings) that door is referred to as a "man door" to differentiate it from a door intended for equipment such as an overhead or sliding door.

Fargos use of "people door" instantly made me laugh (albeit a bit sadly) to think that in this very angry & confused modern world even a conversation of a shed would need to be very carefully gender non specific to avoid the risk of offending anyone. :pout::pout:

Well Wrenchmen I fought the noble & valiant fight: laid in bed for 4 non-productive hours before admitting defeat. Got up and made a tomato and cheese sandwich (with Dukes mayo), had a whiz and now am back in the chair.

    Shop night watchman -- again... ... ... :pout:

So after I catch up around here I guess I can sit and ponder some of those 3 am questions that have haunted man for ages:

Did we arrive at this point in life because we willed it or because we were destined to be here?

Where do thoughts go when forgotten?

Is it better to be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?

If a man speaks in an empty room would a woman still say he was wrong?
    .
    .
    .
Well, heck with all this philosophical mumbo jumbo stuff, lets get to something important here:
    .
    .
    .
If I have another sandwich will I fall asleep quicker? :hungry:

Good morning Wrenchmen and other deeply thinking, manly men of related tendencies :hattip:, I sincerely hope your day is a good one -- I've got a hunch mine is going to be just -- stellar...:redxfall:<<< Rusty

A bit brisk in the kitchen this morning- thermometer just outside the window shows 44 degrees and all the windows are open.

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday. Hope you got some sleep @RustyGreen :bored: (is this a yawn or burp emoji?)

Just to clarify before I make my next comment, I'm not overly PC (respectfull but I'm not going massively out of my way) but I've always called it a people door.

This was exactly my thought, and that's why I laughed at his post to begin with.

I have been the same way for my life. Have always referred to them as a people door. Not sure why. :notsure:

I'm guessing anyone with a person door doesn't have a master bedroom...

It's "supposed" to be called the "primary bedroom".

    Yeah, screw that.
