Also did the blackout decals. I even saved the little bottle from my Screen Protech kit for decals like these.

Also… ‘21 pro tail lights. Thought they look a little cleaner than the current OEM pros.

Did a DIY ECU update and tune today. Flashed to the 04C21 TSB and then the KDMax Pro+ XT tune lite throttle. Totally different truck afterwards, couldn't be more pleased. @wahoobie provided the DIY kit and walked me through the software install and flash processes by phone. Great customer service!

My DIY seat delete deck comes out today. Seating for four restored back to factory and the fridge goes to the bed of the truck now that I'm rocking a canopy.

Installed one of our BDRM dash mounts. Still experimenting with phone mounts and arms. What positions do you guys prefer?

Got the headlights done yesterday in about an hour. Not too bad although I did stupidly scratch both of them. I guess that isn’t an issue for others because I saw nothing about protecting the lights before install, but in the future I’d definitely put a layer of masking tape on them.

I like the lights, but I don’t actually think they provide better visibility at all. Coverage is about the same as the halogens. The turn signal is neat and the DRL is better than the L shape. Otherwise I think they are most a cool factor and not really better than the halogen setup in my eyes. Also, they seem to have a lot of glare from in front. When I installed them they aimed right to the exact same spot as the halogens so I did not adjust them. Overall I do like them and don’t regret the change but they were expensive and I guess I expected more than the results I got.

the camera doesn’t catch the low mode DRL properly which is why that pic looks weird, but it works fine. They look cool with the Rigid yellow fogs.

Didn’t ruin the bumper at all, but unfortunately I screwed up both of the lights by scratching each of them. Sucks, but oh well. Next time I would cover them in masking tape. I didn’t realize it would be so difficult to get the giant light housings to clear all the different parts of the areas to end up in place. I didn’t have enough hands to do it all without the light falling against the side panel and scratching my side marker area.

I borrowed my neighbor’s rent house garage which is empty as the previous tenant just left. He lives next to me and owns the house across the alley from me. Got it done in about an hour.

Unfortunately I did not. I spent an hour in the shaded garage installing the lights, then a buddy came over and I spent about 5 hours on my driveway helping him install a rigid fog kit to his Raptor that wasn’t difficult but just extremely time consuming due to having to run the harness and do a bunch of custom wiring terminations. That kit turned out well but we suffered in the sun for while.

the real disappointing part is that though is my house AC is actually not working right. It is about 83-85 in here during the day. Waiting on the AC repairman which should be on Monday. Problem is the landlord always sends someone when we have problems but they usually fix a quick symptom. The unit we have is a piece of junk and is always being problematic, I think we just need a new unit installed by a proper technician, not bandaid repairs every 3-4 months. It’s like we have to have the AC worked on multiple times a year.

also, our ductwork is terrible and doesn’t even blow air into probably half the rooms. Not sure if it’s disconnected in the attic or what. We can get by with that flaw though because we just don’t use or need those rooms anyways. But overall it sucks. I’m ready to move elsewhere but this market has pretty much ruined that for rent or buy.

Come to SW Ontario. Lots of jobs available and not nearly as hot as Texas. Although we do get the white stuff for a few months in the winter.

Minor difference between 16-21 and 22 if that’s what you meant. A little less black.

Your truck looks great! I love those lights but just haven't purchased yet. Do you have a link by chance?

The old lights are 16-19 pro and new are 20+ Pro. The black strap on the sides is what was new for 20 or later.

Also realized the drain tubes fit perfectly on the side mounts to run under the bed mat. The instructions say to drill the bed, but heck no!! I’m not drilling anything in my new truck.

I was able to get this for $680 shipped brand new when it’s selling everywhere for $1100.
