    Evening everyone.

    I have a 2016 SR5 2WD double cab with a 1” leveling kit.

My tires are BF Goodrich all terrains at 275/70R17

I am looking to buy 1.5” spider trax hub centric wheel spacers and am trying to figure out offset and if I will have rubbing issues. Anyone have any idea if this will work or how I can figure it out?

    Thanks in advance

    Enough for now
Might need a CMC to clear the rear fender area. May need a different UCA

So what is your current width and offset? With 1.5” you basically need to subtract 37.5mm. So if your current wheels set up is +0 your going to be around a -38 offset and have horrible poke and rub.

googling how to figure out my current width and offset right now and I’ll get back to you! Thanks for trying to help

EDIT: I have done extensive searching in the forum and have found that the Texas edition wheels that I have are +18mm offset.
    18 - 37.5 would be a -19.5 offset. Maybe I’d be good?
I have no idea about any of this stuff so thanks again for the help

Pretty sure Spidertrax only makes 1.25” spacers for our trucks.

I would be open to do 1.25 inch spacers as well considering I only want a subtle stance and not ridiculously out past the fenders!

    You are correct.53ED22D4-B46A-4A22-A118-180AC8FBFBF8.jpg

    So...
    -20mm with a 1.5" spacer
    -13.75mm with a 1.25" spacer
IMO, anything 0mm(3/4" spacer)or less is more than likely going to rub. How severe depends on how much more poke, lift, alignment, tread width(not to be confused with section width), and usage.

Bora makes a 1.5"; they make a greater variety of sizes above and below 1.5".
    https://www.motorsport-tech.com/4DCGI/clickedRADIOBUTTONonPre_truck

If stance is your goal, final offset shouldn't matter much; 1.5" spacer=1.5" poke, 1.25" spacer=1.25" poke, etc.

thanks so much for the info! It’s appreciated. Just so I’m clear, you think that any offset below 0mm (as in anything with a negative offset) will rub? Meaning the offset number you gave with the 1.5” (-20mm) and 1.25” (-7.5mm) spacers would rub?
And that I would have to get a 3/4 inch spacer for it to work?

    thanks again

Depends on what you mean by "work"... But, yes; that's what I meant.
Even with a 3/4" spacer you might have rubbing; how severe can depend on those other variables I mentioned. There's no hard 'formula' for this because of those variables.

Appreciate it man. Didn’t realize how complicated wheel spacers were!

Wheel spacers are easy...it's all the other stuff that makes it complicated.

Here's an above view of what's happening when you add spacers or increase offset.
    yire2.jpg

It places more tire on the outside of the point on which your tires pivot.
The blue(stock) and green(higher offset) represent the different radii of the arcs the outside of the tire follows.
The larger radius creates a greater arc and thus more movement forward/backward in the wheel well.

Your wheel/tire also changes camber as it rotates about steering axis inclination(SAI)/+12° and caster/+2°-3°, when the wheel is turned.

Should be -13.75 with 1.25” spacer.
    -7.5 would be a 1.0” spacer.
